Highlighting TürkTraktör’s esprit de corps with the farming community for 68 years, Özüner added: “It’s a great honor for us to become a friend of farmers, who is always by their side. We are also aware of the responsibilities imposed on us by our history and leadership in the sector. That’s why we work to take Turkish agriculture and farmers one step ahead, always. To do this, we invest on research and development, innovation, digital transformation and sustainability. As we approach our seventieth anniversary, we summarize all of our efforts with the aim of 'TürkTraktör Transforms Agriculture, Preparing for the Future'. Because in order to shape the future, we have to take bold steps and change and transform our production methods and habits, starting with our thoughts and ideas.”
Stating that the two eco-friendly tractor models to be exhibited for the first time at the Bursa Agriculture Fair will shed light on the agriculture of the future, Özüner said: “Agriculture gains importance with every passing day. Our farmers are also more conscious about the environment now. More of them prefer tractors with new generation engines that pollute the soil less and save fuel. Our new T3F model by New Holland designed with an eye on such needs will make debut in Bursa. New Holland T3F is equipped with an efficient and eco-friendly engine manufactured in line with Stage V emission criteria. Moreover, in parallel with the emission transition calendar, we will start the production of eight different series of tractors with Stage V emission criteria until June 2023. We will also showcase, for the first time, our New Holland T6.180 Methane Power model, which won the World Sustainable Tractor of the Year Award in 2022. We expect the interest in such tractors working with alternative fuels will increase in the future thanks to the increasing biogas production facilities in Turkey.”
Starting the Domestic Production of Tractor Cabs
Özüner also underlined TürkTraktör’s contribution to the Turkish economy with its flexible and diversified production capacity, saying: “As TürkTraktör, we are happy to manufacture the TR6 series cabs, previously supplied from abroad, at our Erenler Factory. Our TR6 series tractors, called ‘Domestic Giant’, are manufactured for the Turkish market, meeting with great appreciation from the farmers. From now on, the TR6 series will be equipped with cabs manufactured at our Erenler Factory. With this investment, we increase the number of domestic components used in our products while using our capacity more efficiently. This is another significant point for TürkTraktör after reaching the milestone of manufacturing our 1 millionth tractor last year.”
