TürkTraktör Becomes the "First Company Who Receives TSE COVID19 Safe Production Certificate" in its industry.
TürkTraktör, pioneering manufacturer of tractor market, added another one to its "firsts" in the industry.TürkTraktör which put place its action plan against the pandemic and realized Safe Production System activities even before the emergence of the covid cases in Turkey, managed to receive the first 'TSE Covid19 Safe Production Certificate" of its industry thanks to effective and creative practices in this field.
June 19, 2020 - TürkTraktör, the leader of tractor market in Turkey, through the occupational health and safety approach it implemented in the strictest sense and Safe Production System practices it realized against the pandemic, has been entitled to receive 'TSE Covid19 Safe Production Certificate' for its 'Ankara Plant'.
TürkTraktör which undersigned many firsts so far, with this certificate it managed to obtain through many creative and effective practices, has become the "first producer" in its industry with "TSE Covid19 Safe Production Certificate".
Mr. Aykut Özüner, General Manager of TürkTraktör, told us about the issue the following: "From the very day we have been established to this date, occupational health and safety has always been number one priority for us thanks to our understanding of 'our most valuable asset is human resources'. In this field, we have obtained various certificates and had numerous practices as well as awards. We are also very pleased to add a new one to our former glories with the Safe Production System practices we realized in order to protect health of the employees and society against the coronavirus pandemic which has caused many hardships for the world."

Mr. Aykut Özüner, who expressed that with this certificate which Ankara Plant has been entitled to receive, TürkTraktör also became the 'first producer' having 'TSE Covid19 Safe Production Certificate' finished his statement by saying "With this certificate not only we have documented that Covid-19 specific practices are systematically conducted but also emphasized that they are sustainable practices. However the most important aspect of us obtaining this certificate is actually the trust and motivation we have inspired in our employees and their families as well as our customers. These are important for us beyond anything.
Mr. Aykut Özüner, who has drawn attention to the fact that as the 'only producer' of the tractor market engaged in production in two facilities, they put into effect the same Safe Production System practices in Sakarya Erenler plant too, concluded his word with "We made the necessary applications to obtain the certificate which we obtained for Ankara plant also for the plant in Sakarya Erenler. We are looking forward to getting a date from the authority for the inspections to be performed in this sense."
Success Coming Along With Careful and Creative Practices
A team of 10 persons including workplace physicians, occupational safety engineers, administrative affairs employees among others managed a hectic process comprising of research, planning and control stages for 3 months at TürkTraktör.
During application for TSE Covid19 Safe Production Certificate process, TürkTraktör submitted the documentation comprising of primarily risk assessment, action plan and other documents and instructions to be examined to Turkish Standards Institute.
Meticulous inspections with respect to disinfection, social distancing and mask use, as well as any criteria which entitles the Company to get this certificate were carried out at any spaces in the plant starting from the entrance to the plant to production, office, dressing rooms, cafeteria and social gathering spaces, etc. During the inspections such implementation records as training minutes, disinfection charts, etc. were also inspected. Included amongst the creative practices by TürkTraktör was color coding practices which were implemented for managing the dressing rooms and shift changes.
TürkTraktör, "through planning, implementation and supervision activities which it realized for creating Safe Production System, covering the entire plant campus, came out victorious from the inspections and has been entitled to receive 'TSE Covid19 Safe Production Certificate'.
These activities which were initiated at TürkTraktör's Ankara Plan under the scope of "Safe Production" even before the announcement of the pandemic, are continued to be developed together with various practices realized.
